Wall Of Snakes
Ben and Amber Sessions found a house in the American countryside they thought was a steal – it was only $180,000. However, they soon realized that the five-bedroom home was infested with hundreds of garter snakes. It was so bad that the ground around the house seemed to move at times since it was full of snakes. When they kept finding more and more snakes around the house, they got suspicious. They got especially nervous when they began hearing the rustling in the walls. When Ben uncovered a siding panel, he was shocked by the number of snakes that came out. That’s how they found out their home was on top of a huge snake hibernaculum. The previous owners had abandoned the home once they realized nothing could be done on the matter. Well, the Sessions moved out just three months after moving in and filed for bankruptcy.

Postcards
New homeowner Amanda Reddy was removing baseboard on her 1910 Cape Cod kitchen when she came across this 100-year-old surprise. She pulled out the postcards and saw how old they were. They dated back to 1907 and 1909 and were among other possessions. They were all written to a woman named Mayme Berneck. Amanda thought the postcards fell behind, but when she looked closer she saw they were firmly nailed to the wall.
