During a renovation in a Minnesota house, a copy of Action Comics No. 1 was found in a wall. The 1938 Superman comic book sold for $175,000 at an auction. The comic was found among newspapers and was used as insulation in the walls of the house. The comic was graded as a 1.5 out of 10 since it had a detached back cover. A near-mint copy of the same comic graded at 9.0 sold for $2.16 million in 2011.

Magician’s Box
While moving into a new home, a mover noticed a six-foot-long wooden box along with three smaller boxes that fit inside. The boxes each had openings on opposite sides and metal railings that clicked together like a train track. The mover had no idea what it all meant until he discovered the owner of the home was a magician.
