You Found It
When they discovered a house that was in a town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in foreclosure for $75,000, Jason and Kerri Brown were ecstatic. The couple was sure that the two-bath fixer-upper was a great bargain. Little did they know that the five-bedroom house was going to be an absolute nightmare, especially since they had a 2-year-old. As soon as they bought the home, they started renovations. As Kerri was moving bookcases in one of the rooms, she discovered a passageway that led into a hidden room. Inside, she found a chilling note from the previous owner. It was titled “You Found It” and it went on to reveal that the house had a serious mold problem that made children sick and forced the last family to move out. Kerri and her husband promptly moved out and went on to sue everyone involved in selling them the house.

Hidden Room
One poster on Reddit named NukeStorm bought a new house only to discover a creepy hidden room in the corner of the attic. He wasn’t informed that there would be an ‘extra’ room and only noticed the space when he was moving boxes into the house. At first glance, he could tell the room was creepy. The door was about four feet high and had a metal grate fastened to it. Naturally, he had to open it and saw a small weird bed, a wall with foam padding, and one single light. What was even creepier was that the door had no doorknob on the inside – a clear sign that whoever was inside couldn’t get out until someone opened the door for them outside. What was worse, the house was in an area that wasn’t very populated, so no one would hear anything like screaming.
