Huge Problem
The house was decorated quite femininely wherever you looked, and this made the realtors concerned. It was an amazing and well kept home, but it might not attract male buyers because the décor was too pink or too floral for a lot of men. Redecorating an entire house would need a lot of effort, time and money. The golds, purples, and pinks of the rooms would probably not appeal to most male clients and perhaps some women are not too keen on them as well.

The most unique part of the house was the basement, which was sort of an acquired taste. There was a room with wood paneling and it had a wet bar – the perfect man cave. Obviously, there was a man that spent a lot of time there and it is safe to say that it was Joyce’s husband’s private space. The room must have been a retreat from the pastels and florals found all over the house.
