However, the sisters were not sure about the figure because they have not inspected the house’s interiors. They needed to think of the cost of fixing the house up to meet acceptable standards of living. Also, there was an issue they had to address. Joyce seemed incredibly hesitant and they were wondering if they could convince the older woman to sell her home.

When Joyce first contacted the sisters, it seemed she had not completely made up her mind yet about selling her house. Understandably, Gladys and Carla were worried about this. However, Joyce did say that she was planning to sell her house despite having lived there for 72 years. It must have been really hard to leave a place if you have lived there almost all your life. For Joyce, her house is full of wonderful memories.
