Truly Happy
Maria went along the path. Thick trees were on either side of it. At that moment, she was truly happy. The nature which surrounded her always did the trick. It seemed to melt the worries of daily life away. As she was enjoying being in nature, a horrible smell suddenly hit her nose. She had no idea what it was but the smell was definitely not pleasant. Her stomach churned as she tried her best not to vomit.

Maria doubled over. She needed to focus entirely on trying to suppress her gag reflex. Putting her hand on her mouth, she wondered what was causing the smell. She looked up and down, left and right but she did not see anything. However, the smell got worse as she continued to walk on the path. Someone might have dumped trash in the woods, and Maria really hoped that was the case here.
