The Walk
As her dog happily followed her lead, she told him, “Good boy.” Maria and her dog equally needed this walk. They would both get peace and quiet in the woods. They were getting closer to the forest now but she felt that something was strange. Something was telling her at the back of her mind that things weren’t right. Nevertheless, she needed this walk. This is why she continued going down the path.
The Walk
A Dense Forest
They had reached the woods, which was a pretty dense forest. There was a single path which cut through it. Her dog was panting happily as drool fell from his mouth. Maria decided not to think about the feeling that she had earlier. She truly felt happy at that moment. However, Maria should have listened to her instincts because she was about to face a situation she was not prepared for.
