Priceless Artwork
All the way back in 1502, an Italian statesman commissioned Leonardo da Vinci to paint a scene from the Battle of Anghiari. Well, in the 1550s, Giorgio Vasari was commissioned to paint over the mural, but reportedly, he couldn’t bring himself to destroy the mural. It is theorized that a false wall was built over the painting to preserve the mural.

Bats
Two months after buying a house, Calvin Oshowy discovered that the place was filled with hundreds of bats. They were in the attic, walls, and in the ceiling. Calvin was forced to put in extra work trying to seal all their entry points. He ended up building a bat sanctuary outside the house in the hopes that they won’t come into his house.
