You know they’re elite when no one even knew they existed! Norways Forsvarets Spesialkommando were only made public in 1994 after an airplane hijacking attempt by a Norwegian local went array. The unit specialize in abroad missions, most notably, the destruction of chemical weapons in Syria.

South Africa’s Recces
South Africa’s Recces got their name from being reconnaissance commandos. An operator of the South African Special Forces made a famous sniper kill with a confirmed distance of 2,125m. The Recces work on their land and abroad, hunting down terrorists and wanted criminals. The unit’s sworn motto is “We fear naught but God”.
