Australia’s SASR
For the same reason of establishing the British SAS, the Australian Special Air Service Regiment was formed. In 2016, the unit was under heavy scrutiny when it was reported that they have been cutting off the hands of the rebels during an operation in Afghanistan. The SASR currently has top-secret operations in Afghanistan together with other special units of commonwealth countries.
