Gripping the bag with her new shirt inside, Harriet tried to forget about how much this impulse buy cost her. She and her friends went out to have lunch in Spain for the very last time before they were headed to the airport. Before they went to check out of their hotel, Harriet surveyed the room for one last time. She wanted to make sure she hadn’t forgotten anything or left something behind accidentally.

As she was collecting the last of her things to pack up, she caught sight of the bag containing her new designer top. It was right where she left it: on a chair in the corner. Instantly, she felt nauseated. Why on earth did she end up buying that top? She was starting to really regret her decision. Was she just being irresponsible? Maybe she should have resisted the temptation and not gotten it.
