Harriet couldn’t believe what was happening to her. She stood there with her mouth gaping open in shock. She was sure it was just the cabin crew who had the issue. After all, she hadn’t even gotten onto the plane when it all started! It was impossible for her to have offended the other passengers or made them uncomfortable. They hadn’t actually seen her yet. There was no way the passengers had any part in this.

Aside from being annoyed about the entire situation, Harriet felt so humiliated. These people had absolutely no right to tell her what she could or couldn’t wear. However, she was desperate to go home to her family, so she didn’t want to fight about the matter anymore. Instead, she just grabbed a sweater to put on. She had no energy for any more drama. The only thing she really wanted was to get home.
