John found something that would be of great help to his backyard search – some municipal records of the area that he lived in. After searching through the documents, he got the information that he needed. The records state that a house was built, but it also says Whitaker Pools built something else there in 1961. Nevertheless, it’s a bit odd – why in the world would they build a swimming pool underground?

John thought that it was time to refocus his search. He was going to be more cautious in doing it. Previously, he had done everything based only on a hunch, but this time, he had documents to help him go about things the smart way. He hired consultants, who came over with metal detectors and began searching the backyard. At this point, everything became more serious. At first, there wasn’t anything, but the metal detectors suddenly went off.
