Not The Furniture
Actually, there was a catch in buying the house – the furniture was not part of the sale. The furniture pieces certainly played a major part in the feel as well as the design of the home, so we hope the buyers of the house had read the fine print so that they could avoid disappointment. Joyce’s daughter actually wanted the furniture, probably because of all the memories, so she got it as one of the things she inherited. Even without the furniture, the house is surely still worth it.

Not The Furniture
After Seven Decades
Joyce was 24 years old when she started living in the house on Jane Street and it was only after 70 years that she wanted something else. She never failed to look after the house and despite spending a lot of time in the master bedroom during her later years, it still looks immaculate. The chairs looked new and as if no one has ever sat on them and the bed looks absolutely brand new. It is actually very hard to believe they are from the ‘40s.
