Leonard Nimoy
William Shatner spoke about Nimoy’s departure from the series Star Trek as Dr. Spock, directed his own death scene in Wrath of Khan. That time, none of Nimoy’s castmates knew he was planning to leave for good. Director Meyer said that the reason for leaving was, he was “ambivalent” about the role and was looking to move on. There are no hard feelings. Shatner said that their relationship was “all great.”
Dominic Monaghan
It was one of the most confusing drama-thrillers on television. Monaghan starred as Charlie apparently asked to leave after thirteen episodes. The producers had an agreement with him to conclude his contract early after, giving his character a premature demise. He leaves because the pressure of the show was harming his experience. Director Lindelof said that he cried over the loss of Monaghan’s character, but he was surprised that the show lasted as long as it did.
