She surprised everyone when she announced that she would be leaving Batwoman after just one season with her role Orange. She didn’t star in the show, but she had a supporting role that gained her a lot of visibility. Rose was not accustomed to the long hours that came from a starring role. She felt Batwoman was too demanding, gracefully asked producers to let her leave the show. The studio agreed to recast Javicia Leslie in part.

Daley played the role of Lance Sweets for seven years on this drama. The season ten opener of the show came out as Sweets was on the verge of having a kid with his girlfriend when he was killed. He’d gotten involved in the FBI conspiracy. His departure saddened fans, they didn’t know that he asked to be written off the show. He is a successful comedy writer and wanted to direct one of his own screenplays.
