She left for much the same reason that Ruby Rose departed the Batwoman series as the work was too taxing. Producers later recalled how she explained that the workload was too physically and mentally demanding for her to continue, make her written off the show. The official explanation for her character’s departure was that she was released from her contract in order to pursue other opportunities. She affirmed that she had no regrets leaving the series.
