When Dogs Yawn

When human beings are exhausted they show this with a yawn, but dogs do this for another reason. In a dog’s world, a yawn may symbolize security and submission, and 15 consecutive yawns can mean relaxed. But that’s not all, a yawn has more than one reasoning behind it. It can also mean that a dog is stressed or anxious, particularly if he or she yawns in a vet’s office. Before going on a walk, dogs will usually let out a yawn to check their energy level.
