Gladly the gig didn’t work out and Gervais set his sights on comedy, which has gone on to earn him $80 million and bless us with The Office.

Chelsea Handler – $35 Million
Loud-mouthed and sassy is definitely one way to describe Chelsea Handler. Seriously though, the 42 year old says and does all, and that’s why we love her. From 2007 to 2014, she was the host of Chelsea Lately and in 2016 she released a documentary series, Chelsea Does. Now she’s got her own show on Netflix titled Chelsea.
