He had always encouraged his older brother, Emily, to date. In the end, he was killed in a bombing attack shortly after learning that he and Charlotte were expecting a child. He pretends to love her because he believes he can make his plan work. It’s a good thing she figured out what was going on before it was too late. She killed him in the end by plunging a crystal into him!
