There had to be something else that Tony didn’t know about in this story and he wanted to find out what it was. He wouldn’t get a reply until he got one he knew was the truth. He suspected why his daughter was selected, but he hoped the school was better than that.

The school director told Tony that his daughter was not necessarily modesty, but that her outfit was just too short. The ‘fingertip test’ wasn’t passed and then she couldn’t wear it. For one minute Tony didn’t trust him that this was what was really happening.
