It was the year 1986, and the first Crocodile Dundee movie came out, instantly becoming a hit! Two sequels later came out, amassing a cult-like following. It is now 30 years later, so let’s catch up with the members of the cast. While some have continued to act, others have pursued other passions…take a look for yourself!
Alec Wilson starred in the two sequels, Crocodile Dundee II and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. Can you believe he played two different characters in the series?! He played Jackoe in Crocodile Dundee II, and Mick’s close friend in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. Sadly, he stepped away from the big screen in 2013.
We bet you remember Wally from the series. He even came back in Crocodile Dundee II, but that was his last appearance in the trilogy. After the film, he decided to rather focus on stage work, earning various accolades. Sadly, he died from liver cirrhosis in 1989.
Paul Rodriguez was born in Mexico but later moved to LA where he was raised. How could we ever forget that he portrayed Diego in the third film? His performance was stellar! Although you may remember him better for his performance in Ali and Blood Work.
Although Jere Burns was a bad guy in the series, that does extend to real life. He has worked on numerous shows such as From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, The Muppets, and Justified.
Most people remember David Franklin for playing Meeklo Braca in the TV show Farscape, but he also appeared as Brutus in Xena: Warrior Princess. He was also in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, where he played a small role of an unnamed ‘Assistant Director’.
Aida Turturro was in the last Crocodile Dundee movie, but it was not a big part at all. She later achieved more prominent roles, such as in the award-winning HBO series The Sopranos. She was the sister of none other than Tony Soprano!
There’s no way we could ever forget Charlie! Before he had any success as an actor he appeared in Crocodile Dundee II. Over time, he has worked on over 34 different film productions!
How could we ever make a list without talking about Linda Kozlowski? In the films, she played the one and only Sue Charlton. How amazing is it that she and Paul Hogan eventually got married and had a child together? She ended up quitting acting after appearing in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
Following his beautiful wife is none other than the biggest star of the franchise, Paul Hogan! The Crocodile Hunter himself won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Amazing!
Caitlin Clarke is best known as Valerian in the 1981 film Dragonslayer. In Crocodile Dundee, she played the character, Simone. While she continued acting in other films, she succumbed to cancer at the age of 52.
Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles was actually Gerry Skilton’s last film! However, he also appeared in the first two movies as Nugget O’Cass. He officially retired from acting in 2001. We hope he is enjoying his retirement!
Remember Neville Bell? David Gulpilil’s career took off after he starred in Crocodile Dundee. Unfortunately, he did not get a chance to stay in the industry for long after he was arrested for domestic violence.
Mark Blum played one of the most detested characters in the entire trilogy! He has since snagged some impressive roles. His 70th role was for the hit TV show, The Blacklist.
Anne Francine has enjoyed a great career as a cabaret singer but she also played the villain in Harper Valley PTA. She played Fran in Crocodile Dundee but it was the last project she worked on before her death.
Dennis Boutsikaris is an Obie Award and Audie Award-winning actor! He is an incredibly successful audiobook narrator, though he also played Bob Tanner in Crocodile Dundee II.
Mikey Dundee is up next! Serge Cockburn portrayed the child of the title character in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. However, he did not continue to act with the single exception of Danny Deckchair three years later.
To many, John Billingsley is synonymous to Doctor Phlox from Star Trek: Enterprise. Let us not forget that he played Barry in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles as well! He has played numerous minor and major roles in other onscreen productions later on.
Ritchie Singer played Con in the first installment of the Crocodile Dundee series. After that, he went on to star in 30 other projects like Crownies and Charlie’s Country.
Before Nicholas Hammond was cast as a curator in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, he played Friedrich von Trapp in the iconic The Sound of Music. He was also Peter “Spider-Man” Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man. The Hollywood legend retired in 2016.

Terry Gill is another excellent character actor on our list! After portraying Duffy in the first Dundee film, he appeared in 71 other movies. Unfortunately, the actor passed away in 2015.
Clare Carey was cast as a skater in the final movie, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. She is best known for appearing in Coach and So Little Time, however. Aside from these projects, she also played Mary Bailey in Jericho and Lucille Gladner in Aquarius.
Charles S. Dutton
Charles S. Dutton was the actor who played Leroy Brown in Crocodile Dundee II. After this, his Hollywood career truly took off. We bet you remember him from Rudy, Alien 3, Roc, and Bessie! He has also worked as a director for The Corner, an award-winning HBO miniseries.
Luis Guzmán is typically cast as a thug, sidekick, or policeman in onscreen projects. Luckily, he has started doing other roles in more recent years. We bet you don’t remember him from Crocodile Dundee II! However, you likely recognize him for his portrayal of “Mama” in Code Black.
The prostitute named Karla in Crocodile Dundee was played by Nancy Mette. The actress walked down the aisle with actor and director Barnet Kellman. After she appeared in Crocodile Dundee, she starred in other projects for the small screen and the big screen. She is believed to have gone into retirement as her last acting credit was for Monk back in 2007.
Juan Fernández de Alarcon
Juan Fernández de Alarcon played Miguel in Crocodile Dundee II. He continues to act to this day, though he is usually cast as a villain. He recently starred in Trópico de Sangre.
He might have played a minor role in Crocodile Dundee but VelJohnson has nonetheless enjoyed a successful career. You have probably seen him in Family Matters, Hart of Dixie, Die Hard, and Die Hard 2.
The New York native Hechter Ubarry had always been a singer. He later pursued a Broadway career before he made his onscreen debut. He appeared in Crocodile Dundee II, though he is better known for his own cabaret show!
Carlos Carrasco played Garcia in Crocodile Dundee II. After this role, his Hollywood career reached new heights. He has since appeared in films like Jurassic Park and Star Wars as well as shows like CSI, Insecure, and Parks and Recreation.
