According to Town and Country, the actor is “still apologizing” for how things went down. The producers of the show revealed that the only “credible” way to write off the character was to have him die. Asked why he requested to get out of the show, Stevens said that he did not want to renew the contract so that he could pursue other roles. Among other things, he has recently appeared in a Netflix comedy called Eurovision.
