Hot Date Eat These Foods And Youll Smell Like A Million Bucks

So you’ve got a hot date coming up this evening. What’s on your to-do list? Hitting the gym? Maybe you’d like to shave and take a shower (good idea, pal) and dab on a little bit of cologne. You want to smell like a million bucks, but just brushing your teeth and putting on aftershave won’t necessarily do the trick. Researchers have found that what goes into your diet, and later sweats out, will impact your personal scent greater than anything else. If you’re going for an intimate date, this will make all the difference. So what should you be eating?

Pineapples

Even though experts haven’t explored pineapples’ scent effect to a definitive end, they’ve made some interesting findings. Due to its sweetness and acidic level, this tropical fruit causes your pores to excrete a mildly sweet flavor. Sounds interesting?

Yogurt

This one is for your breath. Yogurt is an excellent source of probiotics! Probiotics provide you with a natural (and potent) fighter against halitosis, or more commonly known as “bad breath”. Not only will your mouth smell better for longer, but the bad bacteria in your mouth won’t stand a fighting chance.

Fresh Herbs

Before you start reaching for all the greens in your garden, take a look at which ones will serve you best. According to Leah Kaufman, MS, RD, CDN, “Fresh herbs like parsley, basil, and mint can help mask bad breath with the strong oils that they contain.” You can try putting these herbs in tea.

Celery

Other than the long-lived legend that you actually lose weight while chewing a stalk of celery, there are other benefits to this vegetable. According to expert Alan Hirsch, MD, “When you chew a stalk of celery, you release androstenone and androstenol odor molecules into your mouth. They then travel up the back of your throat to your nose, once there, the pheromones boost your arousal, causing your body to send off scents and signals that make you more desirable to women.”
