Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

The month we all waited for — the month of Captain Jack Sparrow’s return that is. On May 26th the much anticipated fifth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean phenomenon came out in theaters! The film includes old rivals, new rivals, and Davy Jones, or the incognito version of Orlando Bloom. All hands ahoy, the pirates are back!

The Great Wall

The Great Wall, the historical fantasy of Zhang Yimou, came to theaters February 17th. Although the film came with some controversy about Matt Damon as the lead role, the box-office sales proved the film’s merit. Of course, people wanted to see this zombie apocalypse, plus once a Matt Damon fan always a Matt Damon fan.

Wonder Woman

The legendary film is back with a new twist. The film follows Steven Trevor, who is an American Pilot that crashes his plane on Themyscira (island). When Diana, Princess of the Amazon, hears how violent the World War is she decides to go help stop the war, thus becoming Wonder Woman. The film features some the newest and most talked about actors/actresses like Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Robin Wright.

The Circle

Award-Winners Tom Hanks and Emma Watson have stepped out of their comfort zone for this spooky thriller. The Circle, based off Dave Eggers’ 2013 novel of the same name, is about a robust internet corporation and the future of humanity. Read it or watch first, you decide.

Baywatch

And finally, based off the 1989 hit TV series about lifeguards, wearing red bathing suits, running (slow-mo) on the beach to save lives. Yes, Baywatch is back! The concept of the film similar to the TV series. Don’t worry, both David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson had a cameo!
